A Stroll to Shoreditch

In a bid to both lose weight and also enjoy life, I have been finding a balance by offsetting calories consumed by taking long walks, which is actually more of an enjoyment than a chore as I love walking around the city.  Having made arrangements to meet Daniella at  Blues Kitchen , one of the many places on my foodie bucket list, I decided to take the tube to Oval and walk from there to Shoreditch. It was a beautiful day, and I loved listening to the tunes on my brand new epic playlists and snapping photos as I walked. It was amazing to catch up with Daniella, she is one of those friends where conversation is just effortless, and that can never be underrated.  The food was incredible too - I absolutely loved every course. We shared cheeseburger spring rolls and cornbread with honey butter; both things I would never have normally chosen and both absolutely delicious. We both got the chicken taco salad which, as a firm believer that salads suck, I would 100% order again. For dessert w

Clapham Common Walks

One of my most favourite things to do in London is just walk. There is always something to see, and one thing London does well are parks. With the beautiful weather, we have been making the most of upping our step count, and we are lucky to live right in the middle of three commons - Clapham, Tooting and Wandsworth.  On Easter Sunday we decided to take a walk to Clapham Common. It was such a stunning day, with bright blue skies. The dog has the absolute best time exploring, sniffing, running and weeing in every new spot he could find.  I'm so looking forward to getting out for more walks and exploring new areas as the weather gets better.
