My 2024 Vision

Usually when I think about how I want my year ahead to look I want it to be filled with adventure and excitement, but this year is different. In 2024 I want to experience calm, care and control. Before writing my goals for the year, I thought I’d start by describing my vision for 2024. Personal In 2024 I will be the best version of myself because I will invest time into looking after myself. I will be my #1 priority and will thrive as a result. I will develop and stick to healthy habits and routines that enrich my life and make me feel invincible. I will eat healthily, fuelling my body with all the good stuff I need to lose weight and stay healthy. I will stay hydrated and eat plenty of fruits and veggies. I will have a calming sleep routine that allows me to get the best night of rest, sleeping for 8 hours and waking up feeling refreshed and ready for the day. My confidence will grow as I start to feel healthy and worthy and I will feel invincible. Environment Every aspect of

When the Germs Catch you

One of the downsides of being an Early Years teacher are the germs. Unfortunately, my class has seemed to carry more than ever this year and have come down with every illness going, from a serious case of the chicken pox which took down most of the class, to croup and many many coughs and colds. As a result, I have spent most of this year fighting off illnesses so far, which combined with an incredibly tricky class, has not made for a particularly fun time. Earache is like toothache; it feels trivial but is actually horrific. So much so that I spent Friday night on the sofa, sobbing and feeling incredibly sorry for myself. That was, until I felt a big pop in my ear, followed by I rather damp feeling. My ear had perforated. Naturally, I never do things by halves and it wasn't just a small perforation, but a full perforation in

Christmas 2023 Bucket List

It’s here, the most wonderful time of the year! I absolutely adore Christmas and Christmas in London is just all the more special. I'm so excited to get started on all the Christmassy things London has to offer and get in the festive spirit. 1. Christmas at Kew - this will forever be on my list. One of the most festive, feel good and wholesome Christmas activities I've ever done. I'm so excited for this one. 2. Christmas Massaoke - I did this for the first time last year and absolutely loved it. Last year I went with work colleagues, and I can't wait to have the experience with Paul this year. 3. Carols at the Royal Albert Hall - It's been a few years since I've done this one but it's always such a lovely and festive thing to do. I'll be going with my mum, and I can't wait for a good little sing along and some old wine. 4. Christmas doors and decoration walk - If there's one thing London knows how to do, it's decorate for the seas
